I am a formerly certified Math Instructor in the states of Ohio and Delaware with a B.S. in Integrated Mathematics from Ohio Dominican University. With in-classroom and lesson planning experience as a math teacher for grades and subjects ranging from 6th grade Math to Senior Calculus, my hundreds of hours as a teacher and tutor mentoring individual students to help them not just achieve better grades, but an overall understanding of the concepts that they approach has built confidence and motivation in my students. Along with 8 years of Lacrosse Coaching experience, I bring along my practical private-sector experience, most recently as a Senior Analyst for a large e-commerce platform, advising on business strategy as well as developing customer behavior and reporting analytics to improve business operations. I have hands on experience working with special-needs students, and along with my own experiences with ADHD, OCD, and Tourette syndrome, enjoy working with students who face additional difficulties and provide to them someone who can not only relate but be an example for further success. I have a passion for all students and believe that their needs are unique, and do my best to make sure that they receive a custom approach. Along with encouraging my students, it is important that we work together to not just learn processes and procedures, but more importantly the underlying concepts and why these math concepts work the way they do. If a student understands the foundation, then they will have a much better time building their skills with confidence.
